About us
Our property is full of history and charm. The motel used to be known as The Theatre Motel in the 1970's as it was one of the only drive in theater motels in the country. The screen was in the back of the building, and guests could watch right from their room! The setting here is unique and peaceful, full of bird feeders, flowers, and with orchids, a large aquarium and even a fish pond in the lobby. We are centrally located on Route 5 (Putney Road) within a quarter of a mile from the I-91, and Route 9 to New Hampshire. Whether this is your first visit, or you have been a guest many times, we want your experience to be excellent. Our staff is always available to help with any questions or concerns you may have.
Lodging Policies
After Hours Check in
Our Lobby is open 7:30-10:00pm daily. If you are arriving after close,please contact the Front Desk before 8:00pm so that we may get you set up for the afterhours contactless check in procedure.
Check in
Check in is 3:00pm until close at 10:00pm unless you have made afterhours arrangements. It is guest's responsibility to contact us if arrving later than closing. Early check ins are based on availabilty and cannot be guaranteed.
Check Out
11:00AM unless granted otherwise, charges may apply. Late check outs cannot be guaranteed and are based on availability.
Pets
We are a pet friendly establishment with plenty of lawn for your pooch to enjoy. Pets must be leashed and follow town and State guildelines,up to date vaccinations and be leashed at all times on property outdoor grounds.
There is a $15.00 pet fee per night per pet. Qualifing pets are canines only. Limit 2 dogs/per guest room
ADA Compliance
We are happy to have ADA approved canines on all property grounds where guests are permitted. ADA canines are recognized per ADA guidelines and are not Emotional Support canines or pets. The pet fee is applicable for Emotional Support canines as they do not fall under the ADA guidelines.
Cancellations
Guests must cancel by 1:00pm 24hrs prior to the date of arrival. Any cancellations after the cut off time will be charged the room rate + 10% Vermont Room tax. We reserve the right to waive cancellation fees due to situations out of our control.

Smoking
We are a Non Smoking Property. Per Vermont Law, smoking is prohibited 25ft from an operable door or window of a Vermont workspace. Guest rooms, sidewalks and entrance ways are considered a Vermont workspace. Smoking is only permitted 25ft away from these spaces, including the outddor pool surround. There is a $250 fee assessed for smoking in a guest room.
